My name is Aaeesha Braimoh and I am a Nigerian student currently studying architecture at De Montfort University, Leicester. Since childhood, I have always been interested in my environment and the impact the buildings around had on me, which has influenced my journey towards being an architect.

     I am inspired by Francis Kéré who has a dual purpose of creating good and innovative design and aims to change communities through social commitment. I also have a similar vision, with the hope of bringing more creativity into residential architecture in Nigeria. Over the past few months, I have embarked on two major projects and have developed a range of skill sets in both 2D and 3D physical/digital elements. Progressing on to my course, I am looking forward to further developing my skills and finding my own unique style in the process of my studies.
